- Why I Chose Bowen: I chose Bowen (a) because they are the leader in waste water/water treatment plant construction industry and (b) because of the professionalism and welcoming nature that the people at Bowen showed. I would choose Bowen Engineering for these same reasons today, in addition to the exciting fact that we are becoming leaders in more and more markets and regions seemingly everyday. I am truly amazed at our growth in the short period of 6 years that I have been here.
- What I have learned at Bowen: I have learned two key points at Bowen Engineering. First, pay attention to detail, especially to things that seem trivial. It is the “little” things on projects that can cause the “biggest” problems if they are not given the attention to detail that they require. Second, business is about people and respect for one another. Without people there is no business…Without respect there are no people.
- Education: BS Civil Engineering Purdue University
- Background/Experience: I started with Bowen Engineering immediately after college and was assigned to a project team that constructed a 55 million dollar (plus) WWTP project for the City of Lafayette. I worked as a Project Engineer for 5 years before taking on my new role as Purchasing Agent.
- Key Projects/Clients: WWTP/WTP Projects for the Cities of Indianapolis, Lafayette, Greenfield, Greenwood, & Town of Brownsburg
- My Unique Ability: I believe that I have the ability to recognize and help expose people’s hidden talents that they may have not otherwise known existed.

- Recommended Book/Movie/Music: Seems like an odd combination but I would recommend all of these for reading: “33 Strategies of War” by Robert Greene; “Good to Great” by Jim Collins; “Eight Steps To Seven Figures” by Charles D. Carlson
