- Why I Chose Bowen: I interviewed with a lot of companies, but Bowen stood out among all the others as a company that allows its employees to take on as much responsibility and as big a challenge as they wish to seek out. The day I interviewed with Bowen, there was a unique energy that I could sense as I toured the office. That energy is still present today. As you stroll through a Bowen office, you will see operations teams, executives and support teams working collaboratively...having fun. You quickly get the sense that these people are masters of their projects, enjoying their work and each other and that they care very much about their clients and the work that they do.

- Background/Experience: I grew up in Washington, IN and spent many weekends working with my dad, who is by far the most gifted Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor I have ever met. His work ethic, integrity and dedication to our family is the model I try to follow in my day-to-day life at work and at home. I obtained a degree in Civil Engineering, studying under incredible practicing engineers/instructors such as Brian Swenty, Chris Gwaltney and Mark Valenzuela at the University of Evansville. I graduated with fifteen motivated Civil Engineers in May of 2000. Three of us went to work for Bowen that summer and have since enjoyed great challenges and the opportunity to assume leadership roles within the company.

- My Unique Ability: I have a natural optimism and creativity that my mentors have encouraged me to develop and use to assist in our incredible company growth. This, coupled with my engineering background, has allowed us to achieve some amazing results in building relationships and communicating the Bowen message to our clients and potential recruits.

- When I'm Not At Work I: enjoy playing with the kids, spending time with my wonderful wife Pat, reading and playing the guitar. The kids and I have occasionally recorded our own original music. This work is under lock and key until we are picked up by one of the major labels.
- Favorite Sport: NFL Football
- Favorite College Team: Purdue Boilermakers of course! Ahem.
- Favorite Professional Sports Team: Colts!
- Best Golf Score: I never keep score.
- Most Memorable Bowen Moment: The day we were awarded our first major power project. That moment changed our company and set the stage for growth and continuous improvement beyond our wildest dreams!
