  • Education: BSCE, MSCE Purdue University
  • Background/Experience: After graduation, spent 10 years in the Washington DC area building office buildings. Experience as Preconstruction Estimator creating conceptual budgets for office buildings ranging from $2 Million to $50 Million. Estimator on numerous projects, Asst. Project Manager and Manager for both base building construction and tenant office space build out. The largest project I worked on was the 500,000 sf office space for the National Science Foundation Headquarters.
  • Key Projects/Clients: $57 Million – Lafayette Indiana WWTP – City of Lafayette | $25 Million – Airport Utility Tunnel - Citizens Thermal Energy | Numerous Utility & WWTP projects for: City of Indianapolis Indiana, City of Carmel Indiana, City of Terre Haute.
  • My Unique Ability: As a detail oriented engineer, I bring a unique perspective to my current role as CFO, to understand the interaction of operations and financial issues.

  • Most Memorable Bowen Moment: There are many moments of great accomplishment resulting from great team efforts. One of the greatest was the Tunnel Bore Machine breakthrough at the Indianapolis Airport. This resulted from a joint effort of collaboration between a great owner, Bowen and key subcontractors creatively and innovatively solving a very difficult problem very successfully.
