- Why I Chose Bowen: I chose Bowen for the company's family atmosphere and our culture of caring for others.
- What I have learned at Bowen: That it’s not about concrete and pipe. It is all about how we treat others. It’s all about relationships that we build with our clients, subcontractors, vendors, employees, and families. In time we forget the details of the projects. But the relationships that we have built will be everlasting.
- Education: B.S. in Management and Human Resources.
- Background/Experience: Prior to Bowen, Office Manager for several small businesses including several engineering firms.
- Key Projects/Clients: In Operations, I worked on White River North, Phase I, first large project for Indianapolis Water Company (where relationship started), and Danville WTP (first design-build project). Indianapolis Water Company – key client. Helped to foster relationship.
- My Unique Ability: At this point in my career, I believe my most unique ability is having a thorough understanding of the processes within our Company. I have had 14 years experience in the Operations Department on project teams. During this tenure, I learned how to estimate the architectural divisions of the work, manage small projects, and be a representative for the Company in Owner-related meetings. This background coupled with my knowledge of the HR field has provided a closer relationship with the internal customers that I serve.

- Recommended Book/Movie/Music: Love all ranges of music from Vivaldi to the Beatles. Really enjoy theatre – favorite musical is Les Miserable. Love to read fiction especially mysteries.

- Most Memorable Bowen Moment: In 23 years, there are so many special times to remember. Memories that involve every aspect of the Company…from getting a hard-fought bid to closing out a great project. I would have to say my favorite memories are general in nature. Memories of celebrations, visiting with employees’ children in the office or at special events, wrapping presents for adopted families at Christmas, and the other community-service projects that we have sponsored are warm remembrances I will always cherish.
