  Bowen entered into an Alliance Contract to rebuild a failing precipitator at U.S. Steel's Granite City, Illinois plant.  The manufacturer utilizes eight precipitators onsite and needs all eight in operation to keep the plant running efficiently.
  
  The Bowen team worked two 10-hour shifts, 6 days a week to ensure U.S. Steel a quick return to full production capacity.  All work was completed while the other precipitators continued to work online without disruption.  Bowen completed the job two weeks ahead of schedule, providing over $200,000 in savings to U.S. Steel.  The project was completed with zero injuries.
