Overview
To help IPLs Petersburg facility achieve compliance with the EPA’s Coal Combustion Residual (CCR) rules, Bowen is building a Bottom Ash System.
Bowen’s scope includes 3 4 UCC Model 1530 conveyor systems and tie-in to the boiler. Bowen is self-performing all site work, underground utilities, civil, structural steel, mechanical piping, equipment erection, pre-engineered buildings for this project.
Tie-ins will occur during 3 future unit outages.
In addition to the Bottom Ash scope of the project, Bowen is also currently assisting IPL Petersburg with a Physical-Chemical and ZLD Wastewater system.
