Simple-cycle natural gas plants rely on fast-start turbines and large site infrastructure, which fit directly with Bowen’s strengths in heavy civil work, large concrete foundations, and underground utilities. COAL

Bowen brings decades of experience supporting coal-fired generation through major environmental, mechanical, and civil construction programs. Our experience with coal powered energy includes FGD, SCR, and ELG installations; high-temperature ductwork; mill and rotating equipment replacements; and large-scale site and foundation work across some of the country’s largest coal stations. We self-perform critical scopes such as structural steel erection, heavy concrete placements, industrial piping, and heavy lifts. These are the capabilities that enable us to execute complex retrofit, upgrade, and compliance-driven projects with efficiency and precision. Bowen’s experience with coal plant systems allows us to integrate seamlessly with plant operations while delivering reliable, schedule-driven outcomes on highly regulated sites.
